APSET 2025 Notification: Your Path to Becoming an Assistant Professor in Andhra Pradesh
The Andhra Pradesh State Eligibility Test (APSET 2025) notification is officially out. Authorized by the Government of Andhra Pradesh and the UGC, Andhra University, Visakhapatnam will serve as the nodal agency for conducting this examination.
This test is essential for candidates aiming to qualify for Assistant Professor and Lecturer positions within higher education institutions in Andhra Pradesh.

Online Application Starts: 9th January 2026.
Last Date to Apply (No Late Fee): 9th February 2026.
Late Fee Window (₹2,000 + Reg Fee): Until 25th February 2026.
Late Fee Window (₹5,000 + Reg Fee): Until 5th March 2026.
Hall Ticket Download: 19th March 2026.
Examination Dates: 28th & 29th March 2026.

BC / EWS Categories: ₹1,300/-
SC / ST / PWD / Third Gender: ₹900/-
Exam Pattern at a Glance
The examination is structured to evaluate teaching aptitude and subject mastery.
Total Duration: 180 minutes (3 hours).
Structure: No break between Paper 1 and Paper 2.
Paper I: Teaching and Research Aptitude.
Paper II: Subject-specific paper.
Mode: Computer-Based Test (CBT).
