The Government of Andhra Pradesh, Samagra Shiksha has released Notification No.01/KGBV/APSS/2025 dated 25-12-2025 for filling 1095 non-teaching posts in Kasturba Gandhi Balika Vidyalayas (KGBVs) across the state. Eligible women candidates can apply through offline mode in the respective Additional Project Coordinator (APC) offices within the prescribed schedule.

A total of 1095 non-teaching vacancies are notified in Type-III and Type-IV KGBVs in Andhra Pradesh.

District-Wise KGBV Non-Teaching Vacancies in Andhra Pradesh
District-wise vacancies are notified for all newly formed districts like Srikakulam, Vizianagaram, Visakhapatnam, Anakapalli, Kakinada, Eluru, NTR, Palnadu, Prakasam, SPSR Nellore, Chittoor, Tirupati, YSR Kadapa, Annamayya, Ananthapuramu, Sri Sathya Sai, Nandyal and Kurnool. Candidates have to apply in their respective districts as per their local status and Mandal-wise vacancy position.
AP KGBV Recruitment 2025 Eligibility – Age & Qualifications
H3: Age Limit (as on 01-07-2025)
- Minimum age: 18 years
- Maximum age: 45 years for General candidates
- Maximum age: 50 years for SC / ST / BC / EWS candidates
- Maximum age: 52 years for differently abled candidates
- Maximum age: 45 years for Ex-service women
Educational Qualifications (Post-wise)
- Computer Instructor: Intermediate / equivalent with PGDCM or equivalent, or Degree in Computer-related discipline (B.Com Computers / B.Sc Computers or equivalent).
- Vocational Instructor: 10th pass plus Diploma/Certificate in Music/Dance or trade like Sewing, Tailoring, Weaving from ITI/DLTC or Technical Teacher Certificate of Government of Andhra Pradesh.
- Accountant: B.Com / B.Com (Computer) Degree from UGC-recognized University.
- Warden: Any Bachelor Degree with prescribed percentage (50% OCs, 45% BCs, 40% SC/ST/Differently abled) plus B.Ed/M.A Education from NCTE/UGC recognized institutions.
- Part-Time Teacher: B.Sc Maths Degree with required percentage plus B.Ed/M.A Education from NCTE/UGC recognized institutions.
- ANM: Intermediate with 2-year MPHW course or Intermediate with ANM Training Certificate from Government-recognized institutions.
- Head Cook, Assistant Cook, Sweeper, Scavenger, Day/Night Watchwoman, Chowkidar, Attender: Educational qualifications are not mandatory.

Offline Application Process
- Mode of application: Offline only through respective APC offices.
- Only women candidates are eligible for all non-teaching posts in KGBVs.
- Selection through Mandal-wise merit, walk-in interviews and District Level Selection Committee as per APSS guidelines.

- Receipt of offline applications at APC office: 03-01-2026 to 11-01-2026
- Preparation of Mandal-wise provisional selection list: 12-01-2026
- Display of provisional list: 19-01-2026
- Grievance redressal: 22-01-2026
- Interviews (walk-in): 23-01-2026 to 24-01-2026
- Final selection list (1:1 merit): 28-01-2026
- District committee approval: 29-01-2026
- Submission to APCOS: 31-01-2026

Selection Process, Reservations & Honorarium
Selection Procedure & Local Status
- Selection is done Mandal-wise giving first priority to candidates residing in the Mandal where the KGBV is located.
- Recruitment is under the control of District Level Selection Committee headed by the District Collector.
- Local status is decided as per Aadhaar details and Residence Certificate issued by Tahsildar.
Reservation & General Conditions
Posts are purely outsourcing and temporary; no claim for regularization, minimum time scale or enhancement of honorarium will be entertained.
Rule of Reservation as per A.P. State Subordinate Service Rules, 1996 and amendments in G.O.Ms.No.77 is applicable.
All posts are reserved for women; rosters earmarked for each community will be filled with women candidates of the same community.
